health insurance
Health, Dental, Vision Insurance

A Preferred Provider Option (PPO) medical plan is offered and administered by BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama, utilizing their network. The Infirmary Physician Alliance (IPA) is a network of physicians within the plan that reduces the cost of office copays if used. Pharmacy benefits including onsite pharmacies are included with healthplan. Coverage is effective on the first day following the first 30 days of employment. Dental coverage provided by BlueCross and Vision is covered by VSP.

ETO

Full time and part time employees accrue earned time off (ETO) each pay cycle. ETO can be used for vacation, holidays, sick days and personal days.

Retirement

Infirmary Health provides a competitive defined contribution plan (401K) for employees. Employees are always 100% vested in your salary deferral contributions. The plan is administered by Empower Retirement Services. A financial planner is always available for onsite financial planning.

Life Insurance

Infirmary Health provides a free term life insurance policy for our employees based on annual base salary. Policies for spouse and dependents are also available. Additional coverage can be purchased for employees, spouse and dependents.

tuition reimbursement
Tuition Reimbursement

After six months of employment, full and part time employees are eligible for Tuition Reimbursement for those who are interested in advancing their careers by returning to school. 

short term disability
Short Term Disability

Infirmary Health provides income support for employees that are out of work for a medical reason, accident or maternity leave. The plan provides a benefit of 60% base pay.  Coverage begins the first of the month after six months of continuous benefit eligible status.

student loan forgiveness
Student Loan Forgiveness

As an employee of a non-for -profit organization you may be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program through the U.S. Department of Education.
